AFAC NEWS

AFAC is excited to announce that we are planning our next Journey of Hope mission trip to Tanzania this July 2019.
During this mission trip, volunteers have the opportunity to support ongoing projects that are transforming lives. From advancing educational opportunities at Lawrence Academy to supporting clean water initiatives and sustainable community development, every effort contributes to long-term change.
However, the impact of a mission trip extends far beyond the projects themselves.
Sense of Purpose from Mission Trip
As you serve alongside local leaders, teachers, students, and families, you will build meaningful relationships. You gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural communities in Tanzania. You’ll witness firsthand how education, access to clean water, and community partnerships create hope for future generations.
Many participants return home inspired by the faith, generosity, and determination of the people they meet. In addition, they discover a renewed sense of purpose, appreciation for the blessings in their own lives.
Whether you are a first-time traveler or an experienced volunteer, this mission trip offers opportunities to serve and grow. Together, we can empower communities while sharing Christ’s love through practical service.
If you have ever considered participating in a mission trip, this is an opportunity to be part of one. Join us as we travel to Tanzania, build relationships, and help create lasting change for children and families.
We invite you to prayerfully consider becoming part of our next mission trip and experience the difference that serving others can make – both in the lives of those you meet and in your own.
