Paul reminds us that giving flows from the heart. When the values of our heart aligns with God’s values, what He cares about becomes increasingly important to us and our giving becomes directed by Him.

After all, God doesn’t need our resources. He needs our trust. When we trust His promises, His provision, His protect, we give not out of pressure or guilt or obligation – we give freely.

When generosity becomes worship, something shifts. Instead of asking, “How much do I have to give?” the question becomes, “Lord, how do You want me to participate?”
